If that doesn't do it, maybe something with a roaming profile? No my specialty, so nothing I can contribute here. Sometimes having to do it 2 or 3 times has worked. Setting the icons the way they want and rebooting usually has taken care of it in a majority of cases I've encountered with this. What is the user doing when this happens? What programs are open when this happens?
I've also had programs that change the resolution (or run in compatibility) when run on the local computer cause this before due to resolution or other desktop element changes.Ĭould someone else be screwing around with this user? I've had remoting into a computer cause this.
